Marie Evelyn Dittmar-Weippert
3.7.37 - 10.20.19
Marie Evelyn Dittmar-Weippert was born to Rev. Harvey and Maggie Dittmar on the 7th day of March, in 1937, in Clay Center, Kansas. The Dittmars resided and pastored in Missouri and Oklahoma while raising their children, then eventually moved to New Mexico as an "empty-nested" couple. Having graduated from Cheyanne Valley High School in 1956, Marie moved back Missouri and worked. While vacationing at her parents’ house in Mayhill NM, she met the love of her life Doc (George) Weippert at the Mayhill Baptist Church were Harvey pastored. Marie soon returned to Mayhill and married Doc in 1962. Two years later, the couple gave birth to Donna (now Mrs Bo ((Johnson)) Bear) and to a son, Mark, in 1967. Upon Doc's father's death in 1970, the young Weippert family moved to Portalas, where Doc finished a Bachelor of Science degree in Education. In 1974 they moved to Deming, where Doc accepted a teaching position at Deming High School. All the while, Marie faithfully nurtured her children, assisted her husband and served her church as a "stay-at-home" mom.
When Donna and Mark entered Junior High and as Doc's health steadily declined, Marie began working as a furniture sales person in a local furnature store. After Mark finished High School in 1986, Doc retired and Marie managed motels in San Jon and Artesia, New Mexico. Upon learning of the upcoming arrival of their 1st grandson, Joshua-Bo, Marie retired and the couple moved to Norman, OK, where they lived until Doc's passing in 2006. Eventually, Marie moved to Noble to be closer to Bo and Donna, where she resided until graduating to Heaven on October 20, 2019.
Marie & Doc served Jesus and His Church at Blue Lakes Baptist Church in Norman, afterwhich Marie became a member Maguire Baptist Church, of Noble until her recent death. Marie was preceded moving to her Eternal Home by her
